Visual identity for the 2022 edition of GrandOne – literally celebrating the “Grand One”.

Le Grand One:

For the 2022 GrandOne, a visual identity was created to celebrate the concept of ‘the Grand One.’ Eight different illustrations and animations of the number 1 were crafted, each offering a different interpretation.

A minimal black-and-white color palette was used, with colors added only to the logo. The typography combined the the ‘beautiful mid-20th century American calligraphy’ Grand Slang with the clean lines of the monospace Maison Neue, giving the design a modern yet playful feel.
